GOAL SLOGAN: I MAKE PERSONAL PLANS
SOME THINGS TO THINK ABOUT.
The questions below are designed to help you think about how you can help from home with the skills development programme your child is taking part in.
- Do you plan your activities regularly and do you determine the proper time for each task? Do you act according to the established plan?
- Do you ask your children if they know or if they have planned activities for the weekend and when they will do them?
HOW CAN WE HELP?
The suggestions below show when personal parental involvement is necessary. The aim of the subjects proposed is to demonstrate where you might be able to support your child and help him work on developing this month’s skill.
- Encourage your child to use a calendar or a diary, to mark days when there are tests or exams, to plan for each day and note what needs to be done, etc. You could show him your own calendar/agenda and point out its advantages.
- Without exaggerating, point out how time is used over the weekend, so that your children plan what they want to do and when they want to do it.
