Bell-lloc awarded at the Town Hall’s Literary Competition of Jocs Florals

Two Bell-lloc students have been awarded at the 37th edition of theTown Hall's Jocs Florals Literary Competiton in Girona: Marc Boadas Hereu, a student in grade 6th of primary school, and Alex Soriano, an ESO-4 student. Both have won a prize in the non-fiction category. The theme this year was "Girona, a welcoming land". Marc collected his prize last Friday 26th May, and Àlex on the 31st of May.
The Jocs Forals literary competition, also known in Catalan as Jocs de la Gaia Ciència, are literary contests that promote and spread Catalan language and culture. The three ordinary awards of this traditional literary contest are: Flor Natural or Honour Award, which is traditionally awarded to the best love poem, l'Englantina d'or, awarded to the best patriotic poem, and Viola d'or i argent, awarded to the best religious poem.
