Els Joncs Foundation

A group of 1st ESO students visited the Els Joncs Foundation in a day of solidarity and volunteering with the residents. This activity is included in the Solidarity Project of the Technology subject.

Els Joncs Foundation, located in Sarrià de Ter, is a non-profit organization. It is a Center for Special Education where its main purpose is to seek the full employment and social integration of boys and girls with intellectual disabilities, with a special concern for giving continuity to the boys and girls ending the period of schooling.
This year, the AMPA of the school collaborated with the money that was collected at the Solidarity Padel Tournament of this course, and now, the students of the 1st ESO have collaborated especially with the tasks of maintenance, cooking, cleaning, exercises, among others.
