First Term Cultural Outings

On November 11, Bell-lloc students had the opportunity to visit different places in Catalonia in order to contextualize and expand some of the areas of the curriculum covered in class. Since the learning objectives are age-specific, each year went on a differerent outing.
PRIMARY
1st grade
Primary school students visited the company Sastres Paperers de Banyoles. The tour includes a tour of the facilities and a recycled paper making workshop. The start ended with a moment of free play in the Draga de Banyoles park.
2nd grade
Secondary school students visited the Mas Bes de Salitja farm. The visit allows you to get to know the parts of a farm, the animals and the tasks that take place there. The trip ended with a moment of free play activities around the Mare de Déu de les Fonts sanctuary in Salitja.
3rd grade
Third-year primary school students walked the seaside path along Sant Pol de S’Agaró beach to Sa Conca beach. The trip allowed our pupils to get to know a seaside landscape, as part of the natural science project “A Walk Along a Seaside Path”.
4th grade
Fourth graders visited the Santa Margarida d’Olot volcano. The trip ended with free play activities around the Fageda d’en Jordà.
5th grade
5th grade students visited Catalonia Miniature Park. During the visit, the students were able to get to know Catalonia through a set of models. The day ended with a ride on the train.
6th grade
6th graders visit the old Benedictine monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes. The trip ended at the beach of Port de la Selva enjoying a time of free play.
SECONDARY
1st of ESO
Cultural outing to the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà. The students visited the fauna and flora that can be found in this rich and unique place of Catalan geography.
2nd of ESO
The students of 2nd ESO strolled across the best historical sites in the Old Quarter of Girona. Thus they have been able to see in situ relevant historical events worked on in class.
4th of ESO
4th ESO students toured around the most popular streets and places in Girona related to great literary authors. The tour, called La Girona Literària, was guided by experts in the field.
