Further individualised education at ESO 1 Maths
19 September, 2017
At one of the four weekly hours students will be streamed into smaller groups in order to reinforce, consolidate and improve their mathematical skills. Furthermore, students not opting for a second foreign language will be offered an extra maths lesson each week.
This academic year the Department of Mathematics has launched two initiatives to boost individualised education plans. On one hand, students will be split into five groups at one of the four weekly lessons. A reinforcement and an advanced group will be set, along with three consolidation classes. On the other hand, students not studying a second foreign language at the two weekly hours aimed at elective courses, will be offered an extra language and an extra Maths lesson, arranged in two groups: consolidation or reinforcement.
