Results of the Basic Competences of 4th ESO

The results of the basic competences of this year clearly position us above the average of Catalonia, and in all areas except one in which we are at the same level as the centers of our own complexity. They are excellent results, which demonstrate that Bell-lloc knows how to orientate his diversity of students towards academic excellence.
The report indicates the levels of achievement based on the average scores of the students of Catalonia, that of the centers with the same complexity as Bell-lloc and that of the pupils of the school, as a whole and by groups. The different competences value the following:
- Linguistic competence in the Catalan language: Linguistic competence in the Catalan language evaluates the ability to understand different types of texts, to interpret them and to value them. The ability to express himself in writing with clear ideas and with linguistic correction is also evaluated.
- Language competence in the Spanish language: Linguistic competence in the Spanish language evaluates the ability to understand different types of texts, to interpret them and to value them. The ability to express himself in writing with clear ideas and with linguistic correction is also evaluated.
- Linguistic competence in English: In English language competence, the ability to understand different types of texts, oral and written, in a foreign language is evaluated. The ability to express themselves in writing using a foreign language is also evaluated.
- Mathematical competence: In mathematical competence, the ability to understand, use and relate numbers, numerical information and spatial aspects of reality is evaluated. It includes basic operations, symbols and forms of expression and mathematical reasoning, situations and problems related to everyday life.
- Scientific-technological competence: In scientific-technological competence, the ability to solve problems, explain natural and technological phenomena, interpret data, understand scientific methodology and analyze and evaluate technological applications in specific contexts, based on scientific and technological knowledge as well as the domain of the processes of scientific activity.
