The Family: Knowing each other better we learn to love each other.
14 April, 2020
Everyone is waiting for the return to “normality”. We want to recover the routines and relationships which shape our daily life: come back to school, to work, go to church, have a social life…
For the moment, we stay at home with our families. We should consider ourselves lucky because we have a family, a privilege that others do not have. Perhaps you are taking care of people who are sick or in recovery. Maybe your relatives are health workers who, as a precaution, are kept in isolation until the situation improves.
The family, this nucleus of love, is still alive and has a fundamental role nowadays.
Being together makes us feel safe and happy, like when we call or make video calls with our grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins…
The teachers continue working from home, and we have chosen The family and The house as an Educational Project to work on for the next few weeks.
In addition to the work and activities that the teachers and specialists are sending to you, we have prepared some amusing and artistic activities on Fridays that will help you to talk about your families; which family members can you see at photos? What are/were their names? Where do/did they live? What do/did they work? What are their names and surnames?
Do we know the heroes and heroines of our family? What difficulties did they face? How did they get ahead?
We hope that this project will help you and your family. Knowing each other better, we learn to love each other…
