22 October, 2019
During the scientific walk, we work on psychomotor and coordination skills. We also con discover the different smells of nature and the seasons of the year. We can touch trees, sit down on the grass and feel the wind and the sun in the face. Before going out we refresh the essential agreements that help us to enjoy our scientific walk and following out teacher instructions. Every single scientific walk has some aims to achieve depending on the different areas of our curriculum.

This week, P-3 and P-5 students have worked in autumn. They have picked up some chestnuts, pinecones, leaves and other elements related to autumn. We use them to count, classify and make successions. In conclusion, an interesting way to work on enumeration.
In nursery we have distinguished every single part of those materials, we have been able to recognize different and similar elements and we also have related to the sizes. These were some of the aims that we focused on.
We build our knowledge throughout the experience and we internalize to get the concept. With this method, we enjoy while we learn.
